Kraftwerk and KEXP

I really dig KEXP in Seattle (and sorta NYC). It’s where the music matters, and I respect that. I also secretly want to live in Seattle. Now it’s not a secret. But I digress. They do these short radio “documentaries", produced by Michele Myers, and though I haven’t listened to any of them yet, I’d place bets that they’re worth our whiles. The latest feature is called Pop Goes Electronic, and they’re highlighting Kraftwerk. Without Kraftwerk, Electronic Phonics wouldn’t be here, because the architecture of electropop would be totally changed, and who knows what bleep blop we’d be listening to without such fine German engineering. KEXP blogs about Kraftwerk’s influence on the human world and you can listen to the radio doc as well. Hooray for robots and radio features!
Respect the Signal!
